NXTGEN are working with a highly successful manufacturing business based in Peterborough to recruit a Finance Analyst. This newly created role will support a range of operational teams and stakeholders across the organisation, delivering insights and analysis that will help drive key business decisions. As Finance Analyst, you’ll work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to review and monitor costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies. You’ll also partner with the wider Finance team to improve the quality of financial data flowing through the business, reviewing processes and exploring opportunities for automation. The successful candidate will ideally be a part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with a good analytical and commercial mind set. You will be confident managing large volumes of data and financial models to produce a wide range of reports. Any prior experience gained in Power BI would be significantly advantageous as would any previous experience gained within a Manufacturing or Production environment, although this isn’t essential. To succeed in this role you will need to be confident dealing with a wide range of high profile stakeholders, with this position gaining particular exposure to operational colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to support in a range of ad hoc projects including process improvement and automation.
