Job summary

The One Group in Peterborough seeks an experienced Financial Analyst on a full-time, temporary basis to support FP&A activities and own areas such as sales commissions, hedging adjustments, reconciliations and MI.

You will analyse accounts, prepare monthly reports, and work with stakeholders to develop consistent processes. The role requires strong analytical skills and fast onboarding, with hybrid working patterns offered.

Qualifications

• Previous FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and financial modelling.
• Confidence working with and manipulating large datasets.
• Ability to start immediately/at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Calculating sales commissions, compensation payments and hedging adjustments
• Analysing accounts and reports, investigating discrepancies and validating calculations
• Completing monthly accruals and reconciliations
• Producing regular and ad hoc financial reports and presentations
• Managing and maintaining dashboards and MI
• Working closely with the FP&A Senior Manager and wider stakeholders to develop consistent processes and ways of working

Job description

The One Group are recruiting for an experience Financial Analyst to join a well-established, global business in Peterborough on a full time, temporary basis. This role is likely to run through until the end of the year, with potentials of an extension.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

This is a hands-on role sitting within the wider finance function, supporting FP&A and taking ownership of areas including sales compensation, commission calculations, hedging adjustments, reconciliations and management information.

Responsibilities:

• Calculating sales commissions, compensation payments and hedging adjustments
• Analysing accounts and reports, investigating discrepancies and validating calculations
• Completing monthly accruals and reconciliations
• Producing regular and ad hoc financial reports and presentations
• Managing and maintaining dashboards and MI
• Working closely with the FP&A Senior Manager and wider stakeholders to develop consistent processes and ways of working

Requirements:

• Previous experience withinfinancial analysis or FP&A
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills - including complex formulas, pivot tables and financial modelling
• Confidence working with and manipulating large datasets
• Ability to start immediately/at short notice

Benefits:

• £20.25 - £23.00 per hour, depending on experience
