Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; prior experience with SAP is advantageous.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join the Boots UK Operations function, supporting Supply Chain.

As a Finance Analyst, you will take a leading role in supporting the management of Supply Chain costs and key performance indicators and will contribute to wider Operations initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career development and to gain experience that will support progression into more senior finance roles.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Operations and Finance, including senior leadership, providing financial insight and support that drives performance and informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities
  • Leading month-end planning, reporting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Supporting the development of detailed budgets and forecasts for costs and key performance indicators within Supply Chain.
  • Managing and maintaining financial input templates, ensuring accuracy and transparency in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
  • Contributing to or leading ad-hoc financial projects within the wider Operations team.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and becoming a trusted advisor to the Supply Chain team.
What you'll need to have
  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; prior experience with SAP is advantageous.
