What you'll do

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the FP&A function as well as the wider finance team by delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting. Your day-to-day activities will involve producing granular data sets, preparing regular sales reports, assisting with budgeting cycles, and maintaining sophisticated financial models. You will work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to provide actionable insights on spending patterns while also helping develop new reporting tools that empower business leaders.

  • Produce detailed and well-presented financial and operational data to support decision-making across multiple business units.
  • Prepare comprehensive period sales reports for both internal teams and external partners, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all outputs.
  • Support the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes by providing timely data analysis and insightful recommendations.
  • Create and maintain robust financial planning models that underpin strategic business decisions.
  • Partner with various departments to analyse actual spend versus budget, identifying trends and variances for further investigation.
  • Assist in developing an insightful reporting catalogue tailored to the needs of different business units within the organisation.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support alongside the Finance Business Partner, contributing to special projects as required.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance reporting processes and analytical methodologies within the finance function.
  • Deliver clear variance analysis commentary during period end reviews, highlighting key risks and opportunities for senior management consideration.
  • Collaborate closely with senior members of the accounting and finance teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
What you bring
