Position Summary

Join our FP&A team and help the business make informed commercial decisions through clear financial insight and analysis. As a Finance Analyst, you'll contribute to forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting and business analysis, enabling stakeholders to understand trends, identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate or early-career finance professional looking to build a long-term career in commercial finance. You'll gain broad financial exposure, work alongside experienced colleagues and develop your analysis, reporting and business partnering skills in a fast-paced, global organisation. If you're curious, enjoy solving problems and want to make an impact through data and insight, we'd love to hear from you.

Work Pattern

This role is based in our modern Manchester office and requires attendance four days per week. Regular on-site working is essential, as the role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and the wider finance team. We’re unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

What You'll Do
  • Contribute to the preparation and ongoing development of budgets, forecasts and long range planning.
  • Analyse actual and forecast costs, revenue, and profitability, identifying key variances, trends and business drivers.
  • Assist with monthly P&L reviews, providing meaningful analysis and commentary to Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial, operational and KPI reporting, highlighting risks, opportunities and areas for focus.
  • Produce management packs, dashboards and materials that inform decision-making.
  • Maintain planning assumptions, financial models and related documentation to a high standard.
  • Partner with budget owners and stakeholders across the business to gather, validate and interpret financial information.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and projects, balancing priorities and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Help drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems, reporting and controls.
  • Uphold data quality, governance and confidentiality when handling commercially sensitive information.
What You'll Bring
  • A genuine interest in building a career in FP&A and commercial finance.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence using PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, analysis or workflow effectiveness.
  • The ability to interpret data, identify key insights and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative approach, clear communication and the confidence to build effective working relationships.
  • Integrity, accountability and sound judgement when handling sensitive information.
  • Commercial curiosity, a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to learning and improvement.
Qualifications
  • A degree or equivalent experience, with strong analytical and numerical capability.
  • Studying towards a recognised finance qualification such as CIMA/ACCA.
  • Previous experience gained through an internship, placement year, graduate programme or junior finance role.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, KPI reporting or P&L analysis.
  • Experience working with Oracle, Hyperion or Tableau.
How You'll Grow
  • Develop hands-on experience across forecasting, budgeting, management reporting and commercial analysis within a global business.
  • Strengthen your ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities, turning financial and operational data into meaningful business insight.
  • Build your financial systems knowledge, stakeholder management skills and professional expertise while creating a strong foundation for a long-term career in FP&A and commercial finance.
