Overview

As a Finance Analyst the post holder will be pivotal in supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Business Partner in month end reporting, analysis and discussing monthly reports with cost centre managers. This role will help non-finance managers understand their role as a budget holder and communication with this staff group is key. Experience in understanding and analysing finance data will be key along with effectively communicating budget holder feedback which will support with forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of financial management information collation within the finance department.
• Provide robust monthly budgetary reporting, variance analysis and regular provision of forecasts to enable an effective financial management service for the budget holders and managers within the Trust.
• Support the Finance Manager and Business Partner in month end reporting, analysis and discussion of monthly reports with cost centre managers.

Key Requirements

• Permanent experienced Finance Analyst.
• Strong analytical skills and experience as an Excel user.
• Previous experience of financial management is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially verbal, and ability to work as part of a team.
