At Kido we pride ourselves on being one of London's larger, more dynamic, independently owned nursery groups. Our mission is to offer the very best in early years education and care, blending the benefits of our size with the personal touch typically found in owner-operated businesses.

We strive to create enchanting and engaging learning environments enriched with innovative teaching methods, brought to life by our wonderful teachers. They are dedicated to nurturing and enhancing every child's natural curiosity, creativity, and lifelong love for learning. We believe that a harmonious mix of both free and structured play, along with an interactive and inviting learning atmosphere, filled with love, care, and attention, lays the strongest groundwork for children in their formative years.

Since we first launched in London in 2017, we have grown to 21 nurseries, employing over 650 people. As we continue to expand our presence in the UK from 21 to 50 nurseries in the next 5 years, we are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our hub team and drive financial performance, strategic growth, and operational efficiency across our UK portfolio.

The role will be hybrid with a mixture of home working, working from our office in Tolworth and visiting our sites in and around London and the home counties.

The Role of the Finance Analyst

Working directly with the UK CFO, this role will provide the principal in-house technical accounting, financial control and analytical capability supporting the UK finance function.

Our finance team combines in-house leadership with an outsourced shared service responsible for transaction processing and much of the routine management reporting. Working closely with this team, the Finance Analyst will help ensure the integrity of financial reporting, strengthen financial controls, resolve technical accounting matters and drive continuous improvement.

Initially, the focus will be on balance sheet integrity, financial controls and reporting quality. Over time, the scope will broaden into financial planning and analysis, acquisition accounting, finance systems, reporting automation and wider strategic finance projects.
