Since we first launched in London in 2017, we have grown to 21 nurseries, employing over 650 people. As we continue to expand our presence in the UK from 21 to 50 nurseries in the next 5 years, we are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our hub team and drive financial performance, strategic growth, and operational efficiency across our UK portfolio.
The role will be hybrid with a mixture of home working, working from our office in Tolworth and visiting our sites in and around London and the home counties.
Working directly with the UK CFO, this role will provide the principal in-house technical accounting, financial control and analytical capability supporting the UK finance function.
Our finance team combines in-house leadership with an outsourced shared service responsible for transaction processing and much of the routine management reporting. Working closely with this team, the Finance Analyst will help ensure the integrity of financial reporting, strengthen financial controls, resolve technical accounting matters and drive continuous improvement.
Initially, the focus will be on balance sheet integrity, financial controls and reporting quality. Over time, the scope will broaden into financial planning and analysis, acquisition accounting, finance systems, reporting automation and wider strategic finance projects.
You must be aligned to our mission of reimagining early years for future generations and look forward to working with a passionate team to achieve this. You combine strong technical accounting knowledge with an analytical and personable mindset. You’ll be comfortable working with data, naturally curious and confident in challenging existing processes where improvements can be made.
You will take ownership of complex issues, investigating root causes and developing practical, scalable solutions during our next phase of growth from 21 to 50 nurseries.
