Charlotte Tilbury Beauty is recruiting a Finance Analyst – UK to partner on OPEX budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis. You will work with the Finance Manager and cross‑functional teams to sharpen costing, reporting and decision making across UK operations.

You'll develop skills toward a professional finance qualification, support month‑end close, and help drive efficiency while upholding strong controls and governance in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant experience.
• Strong Excel skills and experience forecasting.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with ability to challenge commercial teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with senior management.
• Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budget and forecasting for OPEX and CAPEX with cross‑functional input
• Lead monthly meetings with budget holders to ensure costs are recognised
• Validate and post month-end journals for UK and Global accounts
• Prepare month-end commentary packs for actuals vs budget/forecast
• Identify Risks and Opportunities and work with teams to optimize resources
• Contribute to developing new business opportunities via business cases
• Assist in the preparation of P&L files for Senior Management
• Enforce PO policy and train new starters
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc analyses

About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting for a Finance Analyst – UK. The role will focus on OPEX business partnering and provide exposure to month‑end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and cross‑functional teams, developing the skills and experience required to progress towards a professional finance qualification.

As a Finance Analyst you will

• Assist with the budget and forecasting process of OPEX and CAPEX, working closely with Marketing, VM, PR, Store Design, Store Operations and Training teams for inputs
• Lead monthly meetings and business partner cost centre budget holders to ensure expenditure is being recognised accurately
• Validate and post month end journals to ensure accuracy in UK and Global management accounts
• Prepare month end commentary packs for presentation of actuals vs budget/forecast for Senior Management
• Create, identify, and communicate Risks and Opportunities to forecast, and maintain a schedule for working with and challenging teams on finding optimum levels for efficient use of resources
• Actively contribute to the development of new business opportunities through the business casing process
• Assist in the preparation of P&L files following month end close for presentation to Senior Management
• Enforce PO policy; provide training to new starters and ensure teams are adhering to the policy
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc analysis to support the Senior Finance Manager UK

Who you will work with

• Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, UK
• Working closely with other members of the UK finance team, and peers in similar roles across other regions

About you

• Part qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Advanced excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sum If, Indirect etc) and the ability to build models from scratch
• Experience forecasting
• Commercial and analytical mindset
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, having the confidence to communicate clearly with senior management and challenge commercial teams
• Comfortable dealing with a cross section of stakeholders, both finance and non-finance
• Ability to think logically and methodically
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Flexible & proactive, with an eagerness to learn
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a scaling business
• Experience with ANAPLAN, Looker, NetSuite
• Retail/FMCG experience is desirable
