Job description

Culligan is seeking a Finance Analyst to play a crucial role in supporting and facilitating both internal and statutory reporting for Culligan's central and holding companies based in the UK. These entities represent key intermediary and first-stage global holding companies, boasting Gross Assets of USD $9.6 Billion, along with a diverse portfolio of global interests and transactions throughout the Culligan Group.

With a dynamic and expanding company structure, Culligan is highly acquisitive. This position is part of the EMEA HQ team in the UK, directly reporting to the EMEA Holdco Reporting Manager, with the team located in Dereham, Norfolk. The primary focus will be on supporting two key entities : Osmosis Buyer Limited (“OBL”) and WLI (UK) Ltd. Notably, OBL serves as the main investment and funding vehicle for the entire Culligan Group, making precise reporting and meticulous attention to detail essential for this role.

  • Contribute to the monthly and quarterly financial processes, ensuring that management reporting is accurate and timely
  • Assist with monthly intercompany balance reconciliations, covering loan, trading, and cash pooling balances with global counterparties
  • Generate monthly balance sheet reconciliations using Blackline
  • Help in the preparation of statutory accounts for UK central and holding companies
  • Support in reconciling the UK cash pooling process
  • Compile supporting documentation for year-end reporting, which includes audit and tax packs
  • Collaborate closely with the EMEA Holdco Reporting Manager and the broader finance leadership team to gather relevant insights into business performance, driving analytical insights and commentary for management reporting.
  • Assist in or prepare additional financial information as needed, including ONS surveys and internal requests.
  • Provide tailored financial information and support as required for internal projects and financial reporting.
  • Identify and recommend potential controls or process enhancements where applicable.
  • Help ensure compliance with Culligan's global accounting policies.
  • Participate in ad hoc project work to assist the EMEA Holdco Reporting Manager and the EMEA Holdco Finance Director.
Requirements
  • A-Levels (or equivalent) with excellent grades; a university degree is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with technical accountancy principles and a solid understanding of UK GAAP and FRS101
  • Experience in audit and account preparation is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
