Job summary

ITV Studios UK is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Studios UK Finance Hub on a permanent basis. You will report to the Senior Finance Analyst and work with FP&A leads, delivering reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of overheads using Oracle Fusion.

You will manage month-end journals with GFO, prepare staff cost recharges, and analyse production recoveries across ITV Studios UK labels, collaborating with HR and production teams to ensure accurate, auditable data.

Qualifications

• Qualified, part-qualified, or by-experience with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Experience as Finance Analyst or equivalent role.
• Strong Excel and Google Suite skills.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion suite including EPBCS and HCM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate management information to support leadership decisions.
• Assist budgeting, actuals, and forecast data for FP&A submissions.
• Close month-end with Global Finance Operations and prepare overhead journals.
• Collate staff cost data with HR and Finance, optimise Oracle HCM reporting.

• Develop auditable financial models and drive process improvements.

Job description

We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Analyst, this role is embedded within the Studios UK Finance Hub. Working in close collaboration with the Senior Finance Analyst and FP&A Business Leads, you will deliver accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of overheads across ITV Studios UK labels utilising Oracle Fusion. You will serve as a key engine for management information, managing month-end journal entries alongside Global Finance Operations (GFO), preparing staff cost recharges, and analysing production recoveries. Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality management information that is timely, accurate, relevant, and aligned with business needs to support leadership decision-making.
• Supporting financial planning cycles alongside FP&A Business Leads, preparing actuals, budgets, and forecast data for Divisional FP&A and Business Review submissions.
• Partnering with GFO at month-end close to create overhead journals, maintaining clear, audit-ready documentation and organised records.
• Collating and reporting staff costs in collaboration with HR and Finance teams, optimising Oracle HCM usage to produce user-friendly, insightful reporting.
• Preparing and loading allocations and recharges, ensuring accuracy and reconciling calculations against Oracle EPBCS planning system entries.
• Preparing recoveries reporting alongside the Senior Finance Analyst, working closely with Label FP&A Business Leads and production teams for full visibility of staff utilisation.
• Maintaining financial models following best practice-ensuring transparent data sources, clear calculation logic, and auditable structures.
• Driving continuous improvement to enhance process quality and efficiency, resolving data issues within a controlled change management framework., Travel between ITV office locations and business/label locations may be required on an ad-hoc basis. Qualified, Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst or equivalent role, with proven ability to analyse, compile, and evaluate large volumes of financial data from multiple sources.
• Solid practical understanding of accounting fundamentals, including accruals, prepayments, budget preparation, rolling forecasts, variance bridging, and driver analysis.
• High standard of computer literacy with strong Excel and Google Suite skills.
• Well-organised, proactive, and detail-oriented with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
• A confident, curious team player who displays critical thinking when interrogating data and builds strong relationships across varying levels of seniority.

Other Things We're Looking For (key criteria)

• Working knowledge of the Oracle Fusion suite (including Oracle EPBCS and Oracle HCM).
• Prior experience working within the television production or media entertainment industry. The ITV Studios UK division operates a partnering-led finance structure, reporting into the Finance Director - ITV Studios UK. This structure is supported by the Studios UK Finance Hub - a centralised finance function providing analytical support, accounting, and reporting - and the Production Finance Hub, which provides production finance support across Scripted and Unscripted productions.
