Job summary

Global Gaming and Technology Organisations is seeking a Finance Analyst on a 6-month temporary assignment. The role is hands-on, supporting accounting, analysis and month-end activities in a large multi-site environment.

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified or finalist ACCA/ACA/CIMA with strong Excel and GL experience. You will work closely with the Financial Controller on detailed analysis, issue tracking and journal preparation, helping improve month-end files and reconciliations

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA.
• Financial accounting / management accounting background.
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with large GL extracts.
• Good understanding of journals, accruals, reconciliations and balance sheets.
• Analytically minded and comfortable investigating discrepancies.
• D365 or another major ERP useful.
• Able to operate in a fast-moving environment with imperfect information.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and financial analysis.
• Prepare and analyse balance sheet reconciliations.
• Extract and interrogate GL data to identify unusual movements or transactions.
• Perform account analysis and investigate reconciling items.
• Support journal preparation and analysis.
• Build supporting schedules and working papers.
• Analyse current and prior-period movements and help explain variances.
• Trace balances and transactions back to supporting documentation.
• Help maintain a structured issue/remediation tracker.
• Follow up outstanding items with Finance and other stakeholders.
• Support the senior contractor with deeper dives into specific accounting issues.
• Document findings and create clear supporting analysis.
• Help improve the quality and consistency of recurring month-end files and reconciliations.

Global Gaming and Technology Organisations seeks a Finance Analyst to join their business on a 6-month temporary assignment. The Finance Analyst would be a hands-on individual to provide additional capacity across accounting, analysis and month end activities. The successful candidate would be a newly qualified/finalist Accountant who has worked in large, multi-site environments.
