Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team within Vistry London Division, at our Brentwood office. As our Finance Analyst, you will support the Divisional Finance Team and Regional Finance Director in the provision of internal/external reporting (with a focus on joint venture activities), financial control, and financial/commercial analysis. Responsibilities
  • Review outputs from junior members of the team (month‑end / banking journals, JV/JC funding requests, debtor analysis etc.). Coach and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Completion of monthly management information relating to our joint venture activities.
  • Regular chasing and reporting of outstanding debtors.
  • Support the Divisional FC in maintaining a strong financial control environment across the Division (including maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations) and in providing technical accounting support and challenge to the Regions.
  • Execution of HY and FY external reporting requirements of the London Division and its Joint Ventures, building good working relationships with Group Finance and the External Auditors.
  • Support the wider operations of the Regional business unit, liaising with Commercial / Development / Sales and Marketing teams to provide financial insight and support alongside the Regional Finance Director.
  • Support in the delivery of new initiatives to improve current systems and processes.
  • Ad Hoc reporting and generation of information to support joint venture activities.
  • Provide general support to the team as and when required.

Qualifications
  • Strong academic record
  • Strong GCSE/A levels or equivalent
  • Recognised accountancy qualification (i.e. ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Very good understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook and particularly Excel is vital
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
