Finance Administrator (6 Month FTC)

Our PIB Group office have an exciting opportunity for a hard‑working and personable person to join the team as our new Finance Administrator – Insurer Reconciliations and Payments

The Role

The role would suit a person who is confident and looking to enter the world of finance. You will be a natural problem solver with a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills both verbal and written. As the business goes through an exciting growth period, there will be many opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects.

Responsibilities
  • Matching our invoices to supplier statements
  • Querying unmatched invoices and help through to resolution
  • Prepare monthly payments to suppliers
  • You will be using our client broking systems called Acturis, Websure, SSP and TAM
  • Responsible for investigating any unidentified cash
  • You will be dealing with any email or telephone queries from the Finance Team and wider business
Experience
  • Proven Excel skills and knowledge
  • Naturally keen to learn and progress, confident and passionate about accounts
  • Understanding and comfort with dealing with financial terms and research
  • You will have a positive ‘can do attitude’ and will be a natural problem solver, along with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Self‑motivated with a high attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines, under pressure
  • You will be able to work as part of a team collaboratively as well as on your own initiative
