Quality Controller – Final Inspection Production Operative

We are looking for a reliable and methodical individual to join our client’s warehouse team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Employment Details

• Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
• Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
• Type: Permanent
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (30‑minute lunch break)
• Start date: ASAP

About the role

As the Quality Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Checking off goods coming from our paint line
• Liaising with the paint team where issues arise
• Checking work orders to SAP and ensuring correct units are being dispatched
• Checking quantities of parts & units being shipped to customers
• Using our MES system to add serial plates & labels to finished goods
• Raising delivery notes & export paperwork for deliveries
• Assisting in the warehouse with picking & packing as needed
• Performing any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Operations Manager or Managing Director for the fulfilment of the job and according to the needs of the business
• Actively following policies and maintaining awareness of Fire and Health & Safety Regulations
