The Role

We’re seeking a motivated Final Account Manager and Commercial Assistant to join our Finance and Operations team in Whiteley, Hampshire. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone looking to grow within commercial finance and renewable energy project management.

You’ll play a key part in final account reconciliation, contract management, and commercial support across multiple departments. The role involves close collaboration with our Commercial Manager, Operations team, and external clients to ensure financial accuracy, clear communication, and smooth delivery of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and reconcile final accounts, ensuring accuracy across client and internal records.
  • Liaise with property developers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain project integrity.
  • Support the Commercial Manager with data analysis, reporting, and ad hoc commercial tasks.
  • Assist the Operations team in coordinating project information and financial documentation.
  • Take ownership of chasing missing data, identifying commercial opportunities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with colleagues and clients at all times.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in account reconciliation or a similar finance assistant role (advantageous but not essential).
  • Excellent communication, numeracy, and organisational skills.
  • Confident working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, email systems, and accounting software.
  • Positive, approachable, and enthusiastic about learning and supporting business growth.
Working Arrangements

Based primarily at our Whiteley, Hampshire office.

Travel may be required to our other UK offices in Lee-on-the-Solent and Bracknell (expenses reimbursed).

Hybrid working options available for the right candidate.
