This is a temporary, full-time vacancy that will close in 6 days at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

Shift pattern: From start date to 30 June 2025, you will be working Tuesday to Thursday, 6pm–6am. From 1 July 2025, we will move to an increased night shift pattern – Monday to Friday, 10pm-6am.

Night shift salary: £37,619 rising to £42,239 when working the increased night shift from 1 July 2025.

De La Rue is currently recruiting a Filtration Plant Operator for our site near Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Pre-Press Manager, you will support operations by ensuring the smooth running of our Effluent Plant area.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

1. Ensuring there are no production delays due to unavailability of solutions.
2. Maintaining the quality of solutions to required standards.
3. Informing the Print team of any breakdowns to enable backup equipment use for smooth operation.
4. Monitoring levels and equipment proactively to ensure efficient running and optimal availability.
5. Following correct procedures to ensure outputs meet standards.
6. Ensuring recycled water quality and discharge solutions comply with local authority requirements.
7. Disposing of solid waste in accordance with legislative requirements.
8. Operating the Effluent Plant safely and correctly.
9. Collaborating with the engineering team to report maintenance or breakdown issues.
