Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is assisting a specialist manufacturing business in Newhaven to recruit a Compounder / Filling Line Operative. The role is a 12-week temporary period with the potential to become permanent, offering a fixed early or late shift (05:00am starts available) and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour during the temporary period.

You will support production, measure ingredients, and follow procedures in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for measuring, weighing and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced production environment.
• Comfortable with basic mathematics and measurements for process accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Physically fit to lift and move products and materials.
• Must follow processes and safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production and filling operations.
• Accurately measure, handle and prepare products per procedures.
• Use weighing scales and production equipment accurately.
• Follow production instructions to meet standards.
• Complete quality and data checks with accuracy.
• Support the filling line and wider production team as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
