Install & Service Engineer - Patient Handling & Bathing Equipment

Northamptonshire, Reading, Swindon, Hampshire

£32,104 + Daily Overtime + Van + Pension + Training + Progression. 40hr Week | Door-to-Door Travel | Overtime Paid at Time & Half (Accrued Daily)

Are you an experienced Service Engineer in the patient handling sector looking to take your career to the next level? You'll manage your own patch, work with bespoke assistive equipment, and be part of a team that values quality, training, and progression.

The Role

You'll install, service, and repair specialist mobility equipment including:

  • Ceiling hoists
  • Height-adjustable baths and basins
  • Changing couches
  • Other assistive devices

You'll work across varied environments, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Complete service and repair tasks to a high standard
  • Maintain van stock and drive safely
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Record work via our ERP system (Simpro)
  • Respond to emergency repairs
  • Share best practices and support team training
What We're Looking For
  • Fault-finding skills using electrical test meters
  • Ability to follow service instructions and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with power tools and working safely at height
  • Positive, proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • PASMA, SSSP, CITB, or IPAF certifications (training available)
  • Basic IT skills and tablet use
  • Full UK driving licence & Enhanced DBS
  • Physically fit and able to work independently
  • Experience with mobility equipment (preferred)
