Job summary

G Nius is seeking a Ventilation & Hygiene Technician to join a growing commercial cleaning and compliance business, working across commercial, industrial, retail and public-sector sites. This hands-on, field-based role involves travelling to client sites and may include day and night shifts.

No prior experience in all areas is required; full on-the-job training will be provided, including specialist industry training such as BESA Grease Hygiene Technician training, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

Hands-on, field-based role.
Willingness to travel between client sites.
Good communication and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

General ventilation cleaning and hygiene.
Water tank cleaning, coating and refurbishment.
Kitchen extract and grease system cleaning.
Kitchen extract fire safety cleaning.
Ensuring all work meets standards and specifications.
Working safely and in accordance with procedures and health and safety requirements.
Using specialist equipment and PPE correctly.
Maintaining equipment and reporting faults.
Ensuring work areas are left clean and safe.
Representing the company professionally at client sites.
Liaising with supervisors and colleagues on progress and issues.
Training/mentoring new team members as experience grows.
Completing all work per environmental, health and safety procedures.
