SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Field Technician to join our Infrastructure team. You’ll perform on-site and laboratory testing of construction materials, generating test sheets and reports in line with QA systems.

Field Technician

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Field Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in site and laboratory testing of construction materials, along with knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory
• Completion of test sheets, including all calculations
• Production of reports in line with QA systems

Qualifications

• Health & safety focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you
