Job description
Field Support Merchandiser – West Midlands

Salary: £25,936.20 per annum plus company van (personal use allowed), fuel card with claimable rate, up to £800 per annum potential execution bonus paid quarterly. Tax‑free expense allowance £520 per annum. Type of contract: Permanent.

Working 40 hrs per week Monday – Saturday (Wednesday off). The role offers flexibility with start time. Sunday work only scheduled at Christmas (double time paid). Weeks away from home required on designated away days (Monday – Friday).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage store contact relationships within major supermarkets such as Tesco, ASDA and Morrisons.
  • Use technology to maintain availability and record great execution in store.
  • Collect and deliver stock to stores each day to ensure 100% availability of product on shelf and compliance with store plans.
  • Maintain store records, including inventory.
  • Support other brands in the McCormick family when required.
Candidate Profile
  • Full UK driving licence (essential), right to work in the UK and a UK bank account.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage own time to meet deadlines.
  • Prepared to stay away from home when required (accommodation and meal expenses covered).
  • Positive “can‑do” approach, managing relationships and expectations in stores.
  • Enjoy being out on the road and working independently.
  • Work as part of a wider team, sharing ideas and good practice to drive business success.
  • Put customers’ needs at the centre of everything.
  • Confidence using technology.
  • Enjoy the physical elements of this role.
  • Previous merchandising, retail or hospitality experience seen as an asset.
