PGL is a world where children achieve the 'impossible'. Our residential adventure camps create extraordinary breakthroughs by instilling a love of adventure and the great outdoors, encouraging independence and empowering them to achieve amazing things in the future.
Our purpose is to enrich the lives of children through the transformative power of adventure. Will you join us?
Being a Field Studies Instructor
Working with kids requires energy, confidence and effort; but we guarantee it’s never, ever boring. The centre provides a spectacular location for taking the National Curriculum out of the classroom. As a PGL Field Studies Instructor, you will have the opportunity to bring the natural world to life, introducing our guests to concepts of learning and using the outside world as your classroom.
Qualifications and experience
You’ll need a degree in Geography, Biology or a similar subject and ideally experience working or volunteering with children, such as being involved with guides or cadet groups, coaching sports teams, or helping out at youth groups. Your character is what we value most.
No matter your background, ethnicity, age, neurodivergence or anything else … PGL is a place to be yourself, have fun, make lifelong friends and celebrate what makes you brilliantly unique.
PGL is part of PGL Beyond, a group of innovative companies transforming the world of adventure through enriching experiences and breakthroughs.
