JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood has a requirement for Field Site Services Lead to join the Centrica team on a 2/2 rotation.
Leader of the offshore services team at the asset comprising scaffolding, fabric maintenance, inspection, repair orders, and projects delivery. Accountable for the safe and efficient execution of services works by assurance of readiness from the 35D planning gate. The role will drive efficiency by reviewing ways of working, review of work, and influencing onshore work preparation leads to assure efficiency in planning, resource utilisation and equipment hire. Has site accountability for interfacing with onshore support focal points for contractors and fulfilling management admin duties. A member of the senior offshore leadership team reporting directly to the OIM.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To manage the safe, effective, and efficient execution of planned and emergent work covering Projects, Repair Orders, Inspection, Scaffold, Insulation and Fabric Maintenance services through the leadership of multi-functional and multi-vendor resources. In doing so, creates an environment in which all are heard, respected and valued.
- Participates as part of the Offshore Leadership team to gatekeep, facilitate, and assure the execution of assigned activity in service of ensuring safe and efficient execution of work.
- Ensures all parties understand and compliantly adhere to the Centrica Processes, standards and the control of work process.
- Drives exemplary HSE leadership and performance through support, coaching and maintaining CES+ and industry standards, role modelling the CES+/Wood safety culture, and assuring third party teams are fully engaged with CES+ safety culture.
- Responsible for strategic input to planning, scheduling, and safe execution of high priority services support and construction work in addition to vendor related deliverables through the daily use of SAP and the PTW System.
- When the situation demands, makes informed decisions quickly. Consistently demonstrating safe delivery to all stakeholders.
- Liaise with onshore planning leads to track and assure work is 35D gate ready and assures that work is delivered to a high standard to meet the required IAP gate criteria.
- Ensures correct certification is applied to the respective scopes. Responsible for the sign-off of key documents e.g., MC1 and PL1.
- Provides focus to minimise Non-Productive Time (NPT) and ensures teams are deployed effectively.
- Proactively seeks opportunities for more efficient working practices, materials / equipment costs are optimised, and assures work conducted is value adding.
- Responsible for review and liquidation of SAP backlog within scaffold, and FM disciplines, reviewing non value adding or superfluous work, and closing irrelevant work orders.
- Ensures HSEQ responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their area of control.
- Works with vendors and third party contractor stakeholders to ensure all workers within their area of control receive appropriate training to perform their work in a safe, legal and competent manner including any Health and Safety and site-specific inductions.
- Ensures all competence assessments are completed as planned for all vendors, contractors and employees within their areas of control and any gaps highlighted according to guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive services, construction, maintenance and/or operations experience in the offshore oil and gas industry as well as significant experience of leading vendors/contractors of all trades in Field Construction/Services Support.
- Well organised, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Display both good judgment and leadership qualities.
- Ability to work with timelines/targets.
- Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required.
- Excellent interpersonal organisational, communication and team building skills.
