The role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide support for advanced surveillance and fire control systems across naval, land, and vehicle platforms. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and optimizing hardware and software, performing offsite repairs, system installations, post-service reporting, supporting sales demos, and conducting factory acceptance testing and risk assessments to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in maintaining complex systems using electrical and mechanical assembly tools within military environments, including naval, army, or air force applications.
  • Strong electronics knowledge, including microcontrollers, control theory, servo tuning, and a basic understanding of radar, optics, and communication systems.
  • Proficiency in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, with skills in assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PC architecture, along with software skills for diagnosing problems, installing, and updating software.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally during complex on-site customer interactions.

For Security Clearance reasons, you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship.
