Key responsibilities
  • Installation and commissioning – Install and commission our equipment range (X‑ray, intelligent slicing, industrial washing, metal detection, weighing, etc.) by combining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and embedded control expertise. Supervise system installations, upgrade existing machinery and ensure new systems integrate correctly.
  • Maintenance and repair – Perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair faults and replace faulty parts to keep customers’ production lines running. Respond to urgent service requests and minimise downtime.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting – Provide remote and on‑site technical support to customers. Carry out courtesy calls, remote servicing and telephone troubleshooting, including in‑house product testing or demonstrations.
  • Training and customer service – Train clients’ maintenance personnel on equipment operation and care. Present complex technical concepts clearly to users and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Documentation and reporting – Maintain accurate service records, including installation procedures, maintenance tasks and repairs performed. Prepare technical reports and calibration / test records for compliance and future reference.
  • Collaboration and production support – Work closely with our in‑house production team when required, and collaborate with sales or technical support colleagues to resolve complex issues or improve service delivery.
  • Commissioning support – Assist in the commissioning of finished products by wiring motors, emergency stops, isolators and control panels.
  • Inventory and parts management – Manage parts inventory to ensure necessary components are available for repairs and maintenance tasks.
What we’re looking for

  • Technical experience – Hands‑on experience installing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining advanced industrial equipment. Field service and / or troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or process environment is highly desirable.
  • Computer skills – Comfortable using computers and common software packages; knowledge of MSSQL is an advantage.
  • Communication and training – Able to deliver technical presentations and training effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Organisation and flexibility – Highly organised, self‑motivated, and flexible regarding work location and hours. Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 60–80% of the time) and work out‑of‑hours or weekends as required in food factory environments (overtime available).
  • Licence and transport – A valid driving licence is essential.
