Job summary

Anderson Wright Consulting is seeking a experienced Service Technician in Congleton with field-based roles across the UK. The position involves travelling extensively, performing maintenance, servicing and installation of specialist industrial plant equipment at customer sites throughout the UK and occasional Europe.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical fitting, maintenance experience and fault-finding skills, plus a full UK driving licence and the ability to work away from home on a

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Technician or similar mechanical role.
• Strong mechanical fitting and industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience servicing and fault finding on industrial machinery.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on industrial plant equipment.
• Support planned maintenance, inspections and breakdown repairs.
• Dismantle machinery for cleaning and inspection.
• Reassemble, install and commission equipment after maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK, with occasional Europe visits.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and on-site fault finding.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain records.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Assist with stock control and spare parts at Congleton facility.
• Work safely following health and safety procedures.
