Job description
Field Service Technician

Location: Duffield, VA. Salary: $20‑$38/hr (dependent on experience) + per diem. Shift: Days (Monday‑Friday); travel required.

Typical day
  • Interpret engineering drawings, electrical control prints, and schematics.
  • Install air conditioning equipment, cable ladder systems, and various grounding systems.
  • Complete framing, sheathing, trim work, and floor tile installation to meet specifications.
  • Operate all power equipment (battery operated hand tools, power saws, crimping tools, scarifier, and air tools including sprayers).
  • Hang and/or repair doors & locks, install hardware, assemble & paint doors.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
  • Located in TN, VA, GA, KY, FL, or AL.
  • High school diploma or GED with knowledge of electrical work and HVAC systems.
  • Experience in carpentry and framing construction standards, and strong understanding of power equipment operation.
  • Willingness to travel weekly and be away from home for up to three weeks at a time.
