A leading manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Engineer in Birmingham. The role involves maintaining fire suppression systems, ensuring customer satisfaction, and performing repairs. Candidates should have technical qualifications such as 17th Edition and a CSCS card. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus a company vehicle allowance.
Role - Field Service Maintenance Engineer
Location - Birmingham, West Midlands
Working hours - Full time - Monday to Friday - 10 hour days - must be flexible with working hours - will be put on a rota'd basis after training
Capacity of role - Permanent position
Salary - Up to £45,000 per annum + company van/company car allowance
Our client is a leading manufacturer looking to add a field service maintenance engineer to their team. Candidates will need to be experienced within their field - ideally with fire suppression or watermist knowledge.
Good knowledge of water mist fire suppression systems and the wider fire prevention sector.
Technical – Experience in similar field engineer roles. Demonstrates the technical competence and awareness required to pass manufacturer courses on the equipment to be maintained and repaired, or has relevant technical qualifications for work being performed.
Electrical engineers should be qualified to at least Level 3 and ideally hold 17th Edition.
Customer focus – Ability to communicate directly with customers and maintain good relationships.
Information Technology – Proficient in the use of mobile technologies. E.g. Smart phones, Tablets.
Construction Scheme (CSCS) Card – Have passed, or able to pass the CSCS Health & Safety Test. Holds a relevant CSCS or related scheme competency card.
CSCS, Driving licence, 17th Edition.
