Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a Mobile forklift repair engineer to join their team, covering sites across the UK. You will diagnose faults, service, and repair plant and forklift machinery, working closely with customers and colleagues to deliver effective solutions.

The role offers full training, door-to-door pay, a company van with fuel card, and a generous package including overtime, pension, and 24 days annual leave. Based in Kettering/within commutable area, field-based role nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant/forklift industries (essential).
• Hydraulics, mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential).
• Experience with engines and batteries (essential).
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (essential).
• NVQ or City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous).
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair plant and forklift machinery.
• Collaborate with customers around the plant, lifting and handling products.
• Work independently on customer sites and coordinate with colleagues for documentation and solutions.
• Travel to sites to repair equipment and create solutions.
• Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics with fault finding and repairs.
