Job summary

Staffbase Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a home-based role covering the Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire area along the South Central M4 corridor. You will maintain, service and repair woodworking machinery, reporting to the service manager and ensuring minimal downtime for customers.

The role offers a basic salary of £39,000 with OT door-to-door pay, realistic OTE between £46,000 and £50,000, and a company vehicle, phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical maintenance experience including 3 phase systems.
• Knowledge of CNC or woodworking machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical & electrical maintenance, service and repair of woodworking machinery.
• Carry out fault finding and repair on pneumatics, hydraulics and motors.
• Install and commission machines and read electrical schematics/drawings.
• Provide effective customer service and liaise with the service manager.
