Job summary

Avery Weigh-Tronix is seeking a field-based service engineer to provide technically competent support for test, measurement, and specialist equipment across customer sites in the region.

You will install, calibrate and maintain equipment, handle weights up to 10 kg, and communicate effective solutions to customers while keeping detailed service records and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSE qualifications at grades A-C, or equivalent.
• Field-based role requiring autonomous customer-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field service and maintenance to test, measurement and specialist products.
• Install, calibrate and test equipment at customer premises; handle weights up to 10 kg when needed.
• Complete accurate records, reports and time sheets; manage spare parts stock for first-time fixes.
• Attend training courses (Technical / Health and Safety / Business Processes) as required.
• Occasionally work outside normal hours and participate in an out-of-hours breakdown rota.
