Qualifications

• Competent engineer with excellent 3-phase electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair skills.
• Experience with vehicle wash systems is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
• Computer literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors and occasionally staying overnight from home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning.
• Electrical control panel and machinery installations.
• Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repair work.
• Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks.
• Ensure accurate visit reports, including details of work undertaken/completed, are recorded on the computer system.

Our client is a leading supplier of vehicle wash machinery and, due to their continued success, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit a Field Service Engineer. The role involves electrical and mechanical installation, service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment across the UK.

The Role

The field service engineer will be responsible for electrical and mechanical installation, service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.

• Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning.
• Electrical control panel and machinery installations.
• Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repair work.
• Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks.
