Job summary

Astec Europe – Omagh is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair mobile crushing and screening machinery at customer sites. You will travel regularly to provide on-site training and technical support, while working with the engineering team to improve products and maintenance practices.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical engineering skills, excellent English communication, and a proactive, safety‑conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work across multiple sites.
• Strong oral and written English communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair mobile crushing & screening machinery.
• Deliver on-site training on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Report issues to engineering team for improvements and prevention.
• Provide technical support to customers worldwide as needed.
• Support product testing and the development of maintenance programs.
• Assist sales/marketing with demonstrations and trade show setups.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
