The Role
  • Service and maintain portable air compressors, energy storage systems, generators, and lighting towers.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
  • Carry out commissioning, pre‑delivery inspections, and upgrades.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and be a trusted face of the brand.
  • Work closely with the service team to plan and organise your schedule.
  • Represent a company known for professionalism, reliability, and engineering excellence.

This is a field‑based role with daily travel across Northern England and occasional overnight stays, supported by excellent overtime and travel allowances.

About You
  • Experienced Field Service Engineer with mechanical and electrical expertise in generators, portable compressors, energy storage, or similar equipment.
  • Knowledge of power distribution systems, construction sites, maritime settings, or the military.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (face‑to‑face and digital).
  • HNC (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering – advantageous.
  • Full clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
