Job summary

Terberg DTS Service Department in the UK is seeking a skilled field technician to perform routine servicing, inspections and repairs on Distribution Tractors and related port equipment at customer sites. You will use diagnostic tools, follow safety procedures, and produce accurate reports for repairs.

We expect a mechanical/electrical background, substantial fault-diagnosis experience and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 3 in vehicle mechanical/electronic systems or equivalent.
• Substantial experience in Auto Electrician fault diagnosis and repairs.
• UK valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Terberg DTS Service Department in the field with professionalism.
• Undertake servicing, inspections and repairs on distribution tractors and related equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer instructions during work.
• Agree with customers on completed work and obtain signatures/purchase orders where needed.
• Maintain accurate administrative records and stock control.
• Attend training and develop skills through the company programmes.
• Respond to out-of-hours calls when required and travel to customer sites.
