Job summary

Pennine Pneumatic Services Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot a range of technical equipment at customer sites across the UK. You will work closely with customers to keep systems running efficiently and provide expert on-site support.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineering; eager to learn.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in hands-on field work.
• Strong communication with customers and positive relationships.
• Good organizational skills; manage multiple jobs.
• Proactive and flexible; work independently or in a team.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Attention to detail in service reports.
• Full UK driving licence; willing to travel including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions
• Working closely with customers and contractors on-site
• Coordinating with the service team to plan and deliver service visits
• Participating in an on-call rota with fellow engineers
• Providing technical advice, support and training to customers
• Completing accurate service reports and documentation
• Keeping up to date with product developments and industry standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
