Qualifications

  • Experience repairing and servicing compressors, dryers, N2 systems, and pumps.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing and maintenance on customer machines.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on equipment.
  • Perform installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain test instruments and return job reports in a timely manner.

Field Service Engineer – NCAir

As a Field Service Engineer at NCAir, your mission is to contribute to the company’s profitability by providing professional and efficient service of air compressors and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on customer machines.
  • Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment, field and workshop based.
  • Carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Carry out install of new equipment and pipework.
  • Identify required parts to effect repairs.
  • Complete job reports correctly and return in a timely manner.
  • Plan and organise daily and weekly visit schedules as required.
  • Take part in the on‑call rota.
  • Maintain test instruments, ensuring they remain in good condition.
  • Ad‑hoc tasks as required.
  • Punctual and professional in appearance.
  • Pass on leads to help generate sales and ad‑hoc.
  • Effectively promote the MultiAir UK Compressor company image.
Qualifications
  • Experience repairing and servicing at least some of the following equipment: compressors, dryers, N2 systems, pumps.
  • Good knowledge of the compressor industry, self‑motivated, able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, PC literate & hold a clean driving licence.

Location

This role will be located in Thirsk, covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
