As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be out in the field, making sure our environmental, municipal, civil, and utilities assets stay in top condition. From urgent breakdowns to scheduled maintenance, you'll play a vital role in keeping our clients operational.
Are you a skilled mechanic or engineer looking for a role that offers variety, independence, and career progression? We're hiring Field Service Engineers to service and maintain municipal, plant, industrial & specialist vehicles such as HGV's, sweepers, Tankers, Grabs, RCV's, Tippers and forklifts. Diagnose, repair, and maintain DGEMC-owned assets, including specialist utilities equipment (Road Sweepers, Tankers, Grabs, RCV's, Tippers & Specialist Vehicles / Equipment). Respond swiftly to service calls, ensuring downtime is minimised. Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Maintain accurate electronic work records via PDA. Carry out PMI inspections and complete reports. Manage your own time and stock levels efficiently.

Level 2 mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent). Full, valid UK driving licence. Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Confident diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and electrical faults. Competent in the use of diagnostic equipment. Class 2 HGV licence desirable but not essential. Great communicator and able to prioritise workload.
