TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Medical Diagnostic Systems in the UK. You will service, install, troubleshoot and calibrate a wide range of laboratory diagnostics systems used in NHS laboratories and pathology departments, often at customer sites.

The role offers a basic salary up to £52,000, comprehensive benefits including a company car (electric or hybrid), pension, healthcare and life insurance, plus a 10% bonus and overtime.

Qualifications

• Background in field service or technical support in electronics/electro-mechanical service.
• Open to candidates from diverse high-value electronics/biomed backgrounds.
• ONC/HNC level or above in electronics or a relevant technical discipline.
• Impeccable customer service skills for customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• The service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated laboratory diagnostics systems utilised within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments
• Supporting flow cytometry, cell separation and diagnostics products located at customer sites

Qualifications

• A strong background working in a field service or technical support role, gained within an electronics or electro-mechanical service or technical support background
• Applications are welcomed from a wide variety of backgrounds includinghigh value electronics capital equipment,microscopy, cameras, lasers, x-ray security detection,ex-forces (weapons guidance, radar, avionics or biomedical engineering),medical device,biomedical engineering, pathology laboratory diagnostics andlaboratory device
• Qualified to a minimum ONC / HNC level or above in electronics or another relevant technical discipline
• Impeccable customer service skills and the ability to remain confident in customer facing environments
