Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair machinery across a local Cheshire/Staffordshire patch. The role blends workshop and field-based work with a typical 8:00am–5:30pm schedule, plus occasional Saturdays in busy periods.

Salary £39,700–£46,800 per annum DOE, plus a company van, specialist training and pension. A full, clean UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture, plant, HGV, commercial vehicles or automotive sectors.
• Service, maintenance or mechanical fitting experience.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and breakdowns on a range of machinery and equipment.
• Mix of workshop and field-based work covering a local patch (Cheshire and Staffordshire).
• 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday; alternate Saturdays during busy periods.
