Field Service Engineer – UK

Omega Resource Group is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a specialist food processing and bakery equipment company based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across the UK servicing food processing and bakery equipment, including pie and pizza lines.


• Build, install, service and commission mechanical and electrical components.


• Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns.


• Occasionally travel internationally to Holland to assist colleagues and attend training.

Qualifications & Experience

• HNC/HND or City & Guilds qualification in engineering.


• Experience with machinery in Paper, Pastry/Bakery, Print, Food Manufacturing, Textile or Injection Molding.


• Strong track record in field and service engineering.


• Strong mechanical and basic electrical engineering skills.


• Experience with Siemens PLC controls is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary £45K – £50K (OTE £58K – £62K)


• Overtime: Saturday (x1.5), Sunday and Bank Holiday (x2)


• Paid door‑to‑door operations


• Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend work


• Company car – Nissan Navara


• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
