Field Service Engineer – LE1, Leicester

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + vehicle.

About the Company

Working for a UK based specialist manufacturing business that supplies industrial automation machinery & systems. The role is newly created and a strong order book has meant the business needs an experienced service engineer.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the UK to customer manufacturing sites as a field service engineer.
• Maintain and support industrial automation, packaging machines, conveyors, robotics and similar machinery.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders – onsite colleagues, subcontractors, and customers.
• Plan and execute scheduled jobs with structured travel and support from the business.

Qualifications & Experience

• Background in automation, machinery, packaging, conveyors, robotics systems.
• Technical knowledge (mechanical/electrical) and experience in manufacturing & production machinery.
• Experience or education in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Worked in related industries such as automotive, food & process, distribution, packaging.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
