Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the London to Oxford M40 corridor. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and related equipment at customer sites, with 40 or 45 hour weeks and Monday–Friday shifts.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic disciplines, a recognised engineering qualification, and a full UK driving licence. Company vehicle and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on servicing or maintenance experience on forklift trucks, mobile plant machinery, HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics disciplines.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and a range of materials handling equipment at customer sites within the local area.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Organise your own workload and diary with autonomy.
• Work with a strong technical back‑office support team and undertake ongoing manufacturer training and development to stay up to date with equipment and technologies.
