Job summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and install fluid power systems for clients across aerospace, automotive and manufacturing. Based in Exeter/ Devon/ Somerset/ Cornwall with dayshift Monday to Friday, you will be the frontline technical expert on site.

You will work with hydraulics and mechanical assemblies, carry out testing, coordinate with project management, and contribute to continuous training and development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Installation, repair and commissioning of hydraulic/mechanical equipment.
• Pipefitting and basic electrical awareness.
• Proactive, independent worker with willingness to learn and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, installation and commissioning of fluid power systems and components.
• Repair, service, and commissioning of hydraulic and related fluid power systems.
• Carry out testing to diagnose faults and verify functionality.
• Coordinate with Project Management Team and Site Services & Installations Manager to plan and deliver site works.
