Job summary

A leading materials handling business in Birmingham is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform servicing and repairs of forklift trucks and Material Handling Equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, preferably in forklifts or automotive. A recognised mechanical engineering qualification is essential. This role offers a salary of £30,000 - £42,500 along with benefits including regular overtime, pension scheme, and full training.

Location: Covering Birmingham/Tamworth areas

Salary: £30,000 - £42,500 (Depending on Experience) + Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)

Are you a mechanically biased engineer looking for a mobile role with full autonomy and excellent support? We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, servicing and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at customer sites.

Key Requirements
  • Strong mechanical background - ideally from forklifts, automotive, plant or similar.
  • Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Previous field service experience is advantageous but not essential.
