Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair stairlifts in customers’ homes across East Sussex (BN and TN postcodes). You’ll need a hands-on, practical approach, a full UK driving licence and comfort with travel and on-call work.

Full training is provided and you’ll work to deliver a professional customer experience. The role offers strong earnings potential, with the opportunity to earn an OTE of around £45,000–£50,000+ depending on overtime and

Job description

We’re recruiting aField Service Engineerto join our team, covering East Sussex - BN and TN postcodes primarily.

You don’t need to come from a traditional engineering background to succeed here. This role is ideal if you’ve worked in ahands‑on, practical environmentand are comfortable using tools, fault‑finding and working independently. Experience involvingelectrical work, joinery, mechanical tasks or installation‑based rolesis beneficial andfull training is provided.

You’ll spend your day installing, servicing and repairing our stairlifts in customers’ homes. Just as important as technical ability is yourdrive to do a great job, manage your own workload and deliver a positive, professional customer experience.

This is a role for someone who enjoysowning their day, planning their time effectively and pushing themselves to succeed. Afull, clean driving licenceis required as you’ll be travelling within your region, and you’ll take part in a1‑in‑4 on‑call rota, with additional payments for call‑outs.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday:8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday:8:00am – 3:30pm
• Weekend availability
• 1 in 4 on‑call rotafor evenings and weekends (paid if called out)

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience in ahands‑on, practical role, comfortable using tools and working in customers’ environments
• Exposure toelectrical work, joinery, mechanical tasks or installation‑based work(advantageous but not essential — full training provided)
• Astrong work ethic and drive to succeed, with the motivation to maximise performance and earnings
• The ability tomanage your own time effectively, plan your day and work independently
• Acustomer‑focused approach, with good communication skills and a professional manner
• Confidence working alone while also being part of a wider team
• Aflexible attitude, including willingness to work overtime and take part in an on‑call rota
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Good local or regional geographic awareness
