Job summary

Maziak, part of Atlas Copco, is seeking a Service Engineer based in Wellingborough to service, maintain and repair compressed air and nitrogen systems at customer sites across the UK.

You will install new equipment, diagnose issues, and perform hands-on troubleshooting while building strong customer relationships. Travel, occasional overnights and weekend work are part of the role, with structured onboarding and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical experience, qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Full UK driving licence (or intention to obtain one within 12 months if international)
• Comfortable with digital tools and eager to learn new systems
• Flexible with travel, occasional overnights, and weekend work
• A team mindset with a customer-first approach

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair a variety of compressed air and nitrogen systems across customer sites
• Install and commission new equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient start-up
• Diagnose issues and perform hands-on troubleshooting
• Build strong relationships with customers through clear communication and professional service
• Document work using digital tools and company systems
• Stay up to date with new technologies, including VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, and remote monitoring
• Support continuous improvement by feeding back insights from the field
• Contribute to a safe and positive work environment, promoting company values on every job
