Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Heavy Equipment Technician looking for your next career move?

We're recruiting on behalf of a major UK construction machinery dealership known for its world-class service, technical excellence, and industry-leading equipment range.

If you're skilled in plant diagnostics, servicing, and repairs and want to work with premium machinery this is the role for you.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll carry out:
  • Diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on heavy plant, construction, and agricultural machinery
  • Hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical fault‑finding using laptop diagnostics
  • Breakdown and planned servicing at customer sites
  • Professional communication and support with customers to deliver first‑time fixes
  • Promotion of parts and service solutions to strengthen customer relationships

You’ll work independently within your region, supported by a professional service team and manufacturer training.

What You'll Need
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in Plant / Construction / Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience on construction plant, heavy line, or material handling equipment
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, axles, and CAN‑bus electrical systems
  • Confident working with excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, loading shovels, or diggers
  • Full UK driving licence & right to work in the UK
  • Customer‑focused attitude with strong self‑motivation
