Job summary

Global Fire and Security Systems is seeking a Service Engineer – Ansul & Fire Extinguishers to service portable extinguishers and Ansul fire suppression systems across the North region (Manchester/Liverpool/Derby radius). The role is field based, full-time, with DOE salary, overtime, on-call, callout and a commission scheme.

Candidates should have demonstrable experience, qualifications to service extinguishers under British Standards, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work at

Qualifications

• Experience servicing portable extinguishers and Ansul fire suppression systems.
• Qualified to service extinguishers per British Standards.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of portable extinguishers and Ansul systems.
• Ensure planned maintenance is completed on schedule.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and company procedures.
• Prepare reports and keep logs of inspections.
