ALUP Kompressoren is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair air compressors and ancillary equipment across Warrington and surrounding areas. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform routine and emergency maintenance, and deliver high-quality customer support in a fast-paced environment.

Working in the field service team, you will use digital diagnostic tools, maintain accurate job data, and participate in on-call rotations while upholding health and safety

Qualificações

• A sound mechanical understanding, through qualification or equivalent experience, of at least one listed technology.
• PC-literate.
• A problem-solving nature with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to develop relationships and exceed customer expectations.
• Full UK driving licence preferred (if applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Performing routine and emergency maintenance on a wide range of compressed air equipment.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and ensuring a first-time fix where possible.
• Servicing customer equipment to the highest possible standard.
• Supporting field sales with knowledge of installations, equipment history and faults.
• Using digital diagnostic tools to identify and rectify faults.
• Delivering accurate reporting of activities to service admin and planning teams.
• On-call rota to respond to emergency callouts for critical customers.
• Handing sales leads to the sales team to support new equipment sales.
• Maintaining a professional image to represent the company.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and engineering best practices.

Your role

Working in the field service team, you will be providing professional and efficient service of Air compressors & ancillary Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing routine and emergency maintenance on a wide range of compressed air equipment.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and ensuring a first-time fix for all but the unfixable equipment issues.
• Servicing customer equipment to the highest possible standard.
• Supporting field sales and technical support with knowledge of customer installations, equipment history, and any faults or issues as they arise.
• Using digital diagnostic tools to identify and rectify electrical and software-based faults.
• Delivering accurate reporting of activities performed to the service admin and planning team, to ensure customers receive the most accurate and useful information.
• As part of a on call rota , responding in a timely manner to emergency callouts for critical customers.
• Handing sales leads across to the sales team to support new equipment sales.
• Keeping a clean and professional image whilst representing the business – vehicle, attire, working environment, customer equipment.
• To be aware of and apply Health and Safety regulations and engineering best practices whilst working.

To succeed, you will need

• A sound mechanical understanding, through qualification or equivalent experience, of at least one of the following technologies:
  • Air/gas compressors
  • Air/gas purification or distribution systems
  • Air or fluid pumps, blowers or chillers
  • Electrical diagnostics and wiring on industrial PLCs
  • Refrigerant or desiccant dryer systems
• PC-literate.
• A problem-solving nature, with a hands-on approach.
• A can-do attitude balanced with an appreciation for safety.
• The ability to develop strong relationships and exceed customer expectations.
• A growth mindset – always willing to learn and challenge the status quo.
• Organised – Has the ability to manage own workload and submit job data on a weekly basis.
• A full UK driving licence, preferred clean (no endorsements, points or penalties)
